When I was a little girl I would come across the dandelions in my front yard. I’d take one, close my eyes and make a wish before I blew away all of the seeds. My wish was always the oh-so cliché wish for world peace. It was a desire embedded deep down in my heart. Unfortunately, the world continued to show me that it was way to corrupt for that to happen, so I gave up those silly desires and wishes. But it wasn’t until I found the one who could fulfill all of my heart's desires that my hope was restored. He told me that this world would not come to peace, but he’s preparing a place for me in the world where there will be peace. He told me that although this world would not give me the peace I desired he is the only one who could give me that peace while I’m still in this world. Only through his amazing love and grace is that possible. I put all my hope in the one who laid his life for you and me. Jesus Christ. I am to emulate and share him with you, so you too can have a journey of peace and love.
